Dracaena Steudneri - Dragon Tree
The Dracaena family are native to Africa, Central America and Asia. They form part of the asparagus family and they get their name from the Greek dracaena meaning female dragon, due to the red resin in its stems that is said to resemble dragon blood. This variety of Dragon Tree originated in the tropics of Africa where it is often used as a decorative outdoor plant.  It is fantastic for air purifying making it perfect for the home and office. The solid green varieties of Dracaena can cope with partial shade.

Love plant, unpacking could do with instructions

The Dracaena arrived perfectly packaged, and once worked out how to open the box it arrived in was impressed by how lovely it was. Three stems of differing heights - exactly as described. Amused by the note inside bottom of box - ie only visible when plant removed. (No spoiler alert - you'll have to find out for yourself.) Still haven't worked out how to dismantle the box for recycling - and since it's such a sturdy one perhaps there could be a re-use option . . .
